Your processes are documented so that your team knows what to do and how to get to the best, repeatable results. 

And another important part to a system is automation so that time isn’t being wasted repeating tasks that don’t need to be done by hand over and over again. So when we get this right, your team will be making fewer mistakes, fewer missed steps/balls dropped, team is happier and performing at a higher level, and YOU don’t need to be involved as much either. 

This is one of the MOST important places where CEO can be better leveraging your time.

Frees YOU up to make more high level decisions— business development, being the visionary, leading from the front. You can now LEAD the team, vs BEING the team. And LEAD the company versus working in the company.

Simultaneously you’re empowering your teams, to have more ownership, they are getting better results, enjoy working for your company and want to stay and grow. 

In this episode I am going to talk about some of the challenges that may stop you from creating Seamless Systems and then discuss ways to create predictable, repeatable results.

Challenge #1. Delivery Focused: 

Focused on delivering vs focused on lead gen & sales.  

Challenge #2. Sales Focused: 

You’re popping sales but without proper systems delivery and customer service suffers OR you reach capacity (without warning) and your teams can’t keep up.

Challenge #3. Frustrated Employees: 

Never feel fully supported, feeling delayed because they can’t finish, always waiting on someone else, or info they don’t have or having to re-do work because they didn’t have proper training or instruction in the first place… this is obviously NOT how we want things to go, but it can happen, not because you don’t care but because you don’t have the system in place. 

The LAST biggest challenge we hear is that their teams HAVE documented at least SOME of what they do, but they aren’t using or following the system. (Hand raise)  So one very important thing companies will have us do is come in and implement the Seamless Systems Roadmap there are 6 key elements and you’ll want to jot down today.

Six Elements of the Seamless Systems Roadmap

  1. Departments & Processes – What the departments you need to fully operation your service business.  For TCP we have Operations, Sales, Marketing, Projects, and Technology
  2. Document the processes
  3. Create playbooks for each vital role on your team
  4. Add supporting automation
  5. Create a home base dashboard
  6. Implement into your workflow

So by addressing things this way, you won’t have a list of steps in a drawer, or in a file no one reads, you will have a FULLY implemented system that people can follow & execute.
