I know for a fact that it is possible for you. 

 

No matter where you are right now, there is a next level and you can get yourself there. 

But, I also know that for some business owners, it just sounds too good to be true. Their day to day reality feels so overwhelming and stressful, they can’t even begin to imagine building a profitable business like that!

 It won’t take forever, it can happen in just a matter of months

 

When you started your business, you had a dream, a goal, or a destination in mind. Close your eyes for a second and cast your mind back to your early days. What was the destination you want to reach in your business?

 

Wouldn’t you like to get there, and soon? 

 

The three strategies for your service business to generate real growth.

 

LEADS.

Close your eyes and imagine your dream car. What colour is it? What sort of interior does it have? Is it a sexy convertible or a jaw-dropping jeep? Imagine what it would feel like to be cruising down the highway,  listening to your favourite song, with a smile on your face and a feeling of total happiness. 

 

Are you aware that your business is just like that car? You’re the driver and you decide your destination, but – you are totally dependant on the vehicle working to get you there.  

 

Being a business woman is one of the most important journeys of your life! 

 

So, I want you to think of Leads as the gasoline that keeps your business flowing. Just like a car, without leads, your business will show warning signs that it’s running low, before coming to a Complete. Stop. 

 

As a business owner you should always be in front of and connecting with potential clients.

SALES.

Think of sales as the funnel that gets the gasoline into the engine.  

 

One of the first things I know works best, is for you to create a questionnaire so you can vet who you are talking to before you. Know that while you have a discovery session to answer any questions the potential client might have, you are also interviewing them to ensure they are a good fit for you.

 

Because believe me, working with the wrong client is like putting the wrong type of fuel into you car! It will slow you down, costing you peace of mind and – more money in the long run

 

Imagine working with the wrong clients all the time, you would be frustrated with the work, with your communications and with the fact they either weren’t referring you, or were referring you to more of the wrong clients. 

 

So one of the most important messages we teach over in the Next Level Accelerator is about how to get  into the mindset that you are in control. This means that not only do potential clients get to see if you are a good fit – you also must know if they are a good fit / ideal client for you! 

 

In terms of a sales conversation, this is quite radical. 

 

Because sometimes we think we have to chase clients or do anything to get the next sale – when in fact, we become stronger by being honest and selective. There is often growth in saying No. 

 

But it takes courage and community to show you how. 

 

CLIENTS.

Let’s talk about giving the client the best experience from the very beginning. THIS is what is going to help you take your business to the Next Level. 

 

Imagine what the Next Level in your business looks like for you? 

 

You already know that you have to get your client a contract and that welcomes emails are important – you know the basics. But it’s time to uplevel that client experience from the beginning to the end of your working relationship- because that is what gets them to refer you. And great referrals build strong business. 

 

Clients want to see growth in their work with you so that they have a sense of security and assurance. They want ROI after all. But often as a business owner you become so focused on implementing that you don’t look at what you are actually delivering. 

 

You aren’t measuring results, you are just doing, doing, doing

 

What happens in this scenario is that you lose sight of the bigger picture, of what’s really working and you end up lost in the busy work. 

 

This is where a subtle but damaging shift often takes place. The client has now become your boss. You started off your working relationship in a position of expertise and authority, leading the process and impressing the client. But now, the tables have turned and you are no longer seen as a leader. 

 

It’s essential that you support and communicate with your client in a way that shows them growth is happening.  The only way to show that is over a period of time – it’s a journey and every one has a start point, a travel-time and a final destination. 

 

The Value of Using All Three of These Strategies

Some Implementers regularly use only one or two of these strategies. For example, they might implement Sales and Clients, but not Leads. Businesses that do that cap their growth potential, because they aren’t bringing in new prospects to nurture into paying clients.

Other businesses implement Sales and Leads but fall behind with Client management and communications. Those businesses limit their growth, because they give a bad experience to clients that won’t refer or renew.  This ends up costing time and money, resulting in the need to pay higher marketing costs to get in front of the right leads.
